Seat Runner Set AQS005 Slide Rails fits AQ Parts AQS120 AQS150 Mower Seats

A set of offset-arm sliding seat runners for ride-on mowers, garden tractors, utility vehicles, quads, and compact plant and turf equipment. Also known as slide rails or seat slides.

Each runner comes in two halves — one bolts to the machine, the other to the seat, and they slide together. Once fitted they give the operator 150 mm of fore and aft adjustment over 11 lock positions, roughly 14 mm per notch, so the seat position can be set finely rather than in coarse steps.

Confirmed to fit our own AQS120 and AQS150 seats. We hold both parts, so that is one fitment we can state without qualification. For any other seat or machine, work from the dimensions below.

Measure your machine first. These runners are sold on their dimensions, not on a machine model list. The figure that decides whether they fit is the distance between the mounting centres on your machine. Compare it against the range below before ordering.

Handed. The release arm is offset and sits on the right of the seat. If you need the adjuster on the left, our AQS010 straight-arm runners are the ones you want.

They have a front and a back. The edge distances differ at each end, so fitting them reversed shifts every position by roughly 3 mm.

Fixings included. A fixing kit of 4 × M8 × 20 mm round-head socket bolts and 8 washers is supplied for the runner-to-seat fixing, sized for our own seat pans. If you are fitting to another make of seat, check your pan thickness against that bolt length. Bolts for fixing the runners to your machine are not supplied, as the length needed varies from machine to machine. The runners take 8 mm bolts throughout.

Mounting centres — the dimension to check
Machine side, seven fixing points, four of them slotted: fixed centres of 150, 180, 200, 203, 230, 250 and 285 mm, with intermediate spacings achievable through the slots. Maximum span 284 mm.
Seat side, six fixing points, two of them slotted: centres up to about 254 mm, slot to slot 241 to 254 mm, which suits the 250 mm depth pattern on our AQS120 and AQS150 seats.

AQS005 or AQS010? Neither supersedes the other. AQS005 reaches down to 150 mm centres, which AQS010 does not, so it suits tight or compact installations. AQS010 reaches 290 and 300 mm, which these do not, so it suits larger machines.
